Methi, or fenugreek as it is commonly known is a flavoursome green leafed plant. It is recognised as having two main uses – firstly as an ingredient in great food, and secondly to aid milk production in mothers feeding their young. For this dish we are definitely concentrating on the former!
Gosht in this recipe is the superb melt in the mouth delight of expertly cooked lamb. The methi gives this curry a lovely warming flavour, and this is further complemented with fresh herbs and spice to bring out the flavour and create a dish that will warm you on a cold night.
